Group Term Life Insurance

Sentry's group term life coverage provides protection for the employee and his or her dependents in the event of the employee's death.  Benefit amounts are based on classification or annual earnings. The accidental death and dismemberment benefit is included.  Dependent life insurance is available as an optional coverage.

Group Dental Insurance

Dental care is among the most in-demand benefit employees seek in today's job market.  Sentry's plan includes:

  • Benefits for basic and major procedures based on a percentage of reasonable and customary charges
  • Deductible and maximum benefit provisions to help keep costs down
  • Optional coverage for orthodontia
  • Optional full coverage for preventive procedures without waiting periods

Short-Term Disability Insurance

A nonwork-related injury or illness means lost profit for you and lost wages for your employee.  Short-term disability insurance is a win-win option because it replaces a portion of your employees' weekly earnings when they are unable to work.

Sentry's plan includes:

  • Weekly benefit amounts based on classification and percentage of earnings
  • Waiting periods and maximum benefit amounts designed to control healthcare and recovery costs

Long-Term Disability Insurance

Long-term disability provides a monthly income for lengthy work-related or non-work related disabilities.

  • Monthly benefit amounts based on classification and percentage of earnings
  • An effective return-to-work program to help your employees get healthy and back to work again


We can also help you with medical coverage. Sentry maintains relationships with medical coverage providers, so we can help make arrangements with HMOs, PPOs and other insurers if you need assistance in identifying medical coverage alternatives.
