A helpful way to
view any investment is to know its objective – what
the investment is trying to accomplish for investors. While
there are hundreds of different investments, there are three
primary investment objectives; income, growth and a combination
of income and growth.
DIFFERENT CHOICES FOR DIFFERENT
GOALS
In order to help Sentry retirement plan participants select
investment options, accounts are presented based on their
investment objective; those that pursue income, those that
pursue growth, and those that pursue a combination of growth
and income. A fourth group of Sentry investments, called
Target Retirement Accounts, provide retirement
plan participants with a growth and income objective based
on their target retirement date.
