Participant Release regarding Sentry's Guaranteed Fund Rapid Trading Policy
ATTENTION PARTICIPANTS AND PLAN SPONSORS INVESTING IN:
The Sentry Guaranteed Fund
Rapid trading is defined as moving money back and forth between investments in an attempt to time the market. Rapid
trading increases administrative costs and undermines Sentry's ability to make the long-term investments needed to support
our interest guarantees.
To protect the interests of our participants, we are implementing the following rapid trading policy on the Guaranteed Fund.
Effective June 1, 2006, participants who exchange any amount from the Sentry Guaranteed Fund must wait 30 calendar days
before exchanging back into the Sentry Guaranteed Fund. An exchange is a transaction in which proceeds from a redemption
are used to purchase another investment offered in the plan.
The policy will not apply to:
Purchases made with participant payrol or employer contributions
Distributions, loans and in-service withdrawals from a plan
Distributions as part of a plan termination or at the direction of the plan trustees
