Following is a summary of information about the Sentry Aggressive Growth Account. Investors are advised to learn key data about an investment prior to making any investment decision.
Objective
The objective of this account is to seek long-term growth of capital. It is invested solely in the Janus Research Fund. Prior to January 1, 2007, this fund was known as the Janus Mercury Fund.
Investor Profile
The Aggressive Growth Account may be suitable for investors with a very long-term investment horizon who are pursuing long-term growth and are willing to accept the significant risks and potential rewards of investing with an advisor who has a very wide investment latitude and can invest in common stocks of any size and may invest without limit in foreign securities. Individuals must be willing and able to accept substantial change in unit price in the short, long and very long term.
Investment Strategy
Janus Research Fund invests primarily in the common stocks of companies of any size selected for their growth potential. The fund´s charter provides the advisor with an extremely wide range of investment options in pursuit of attractively priced growth companies. This flexibility increases investment risk.
Investment Considerations
The Aggressive Growth Account is one of the five highest risk investments offered by Sentry to retirement plan participants. The Aggressive Growth Account invests primarily in common stocks of companies of any size, which may include larger more established companies and/or smaller emerging growth companies. Investments in emerging growth companies may be subject to more abrupt price changes than investments in larger, more established companies. The Aggressive Growth Account can be used in combination with other accounts depending on the level of risk sought by the investor.

Investment management, brokerage fees and all other expenses of
Janus total 0.98 percent per year and are deducted from the asset
value of Janus Research Fund. Janus Research Fund is managed under
a team-based investment approach. Expense ratio includes a management
fee as of 7/1/04; other expense components are as of 10/31/03.
Effective 7/1/04, Janus Capital agreed to reduce the annual rate
of the Fund's management fee, as set forth in the Fund's Investment
Advisory Agreement with Janus Capital. *Performance figures for
Janus Research Fund include the reinvestment of all dividends and
capital gain distributions. All returns are net of portfolio expenses.
Money invested by participants in the Sentry Life Aggressive Growth
Account is then invested by Sentry Life Insurance Company or Sentry
Life Insurance Company of New York into the underlying portfolio.
A separate account fee for sales, marketing, taxes, account compliance,
overhead and legal/audit fees will be applied to this Separate
Account. The separate account fee is reduced by the Janus administrative
fee payment remitted to Sentry of .25% annualized. The separate
account fee will reduce the total returns of the Separate Account
quoted above. The information contained in this fact sheet is
