Objective

The objective of the Equity Growth & Income Account is to seek high current dividend income and long-term capital appreciation. It is invested solely in the T. Rowe Price Equity Income Fund ®..

Investor Profile

The Equity Growth & Income Account may be suitable for investors with a long-term investment horizon who are seeking both current income and growth of principal through dividend paying common stocks. Individuals must be willing and able to accept considerable changes in unit price both in the short and long term.

Investment Strategy

The T. Rowe Price Equity Income Fund invests at least 65% of assets in common stocks of well-established companies paying above average dividends. In evaluating a security, the advisor considers the dividend yield, prospects for earnings and a company's underlying value. Fixed income securities may be owned to enhance income. Up to 25% of assets may be invested in foreign securities.

Investment Considerations

The Equity Growth & Income Account is an actively managed, Growth & Income option that can be utilized as a stand-alone investment or in conjunction with other Accounts. More aggressive investors can use the Equity Growth & Income Account with Growth Accounts while more conservative investors can combine it with either other Growth & Income or Income Accounts.
