GROWTH & INCOME ACCOUNT

Following is a summary of information about the Sentry Growth Income Account. Investors are advised to learn key data about an investment prior to making any investment decision.

Objective

The objective of the Growth & Income Account is to seek capital growth and current dividend income.  It is invested solely in the Sentry Growth and Income Portfolio.

Investor Profile

The Growth & Income Account may be suitable for investors with a long-term investment horizon who are seeking long-term growth of capital and current dividend income through common stock investing. Individuals must be willing and able to accept considerable changes in unit price both in the short and long term.

Investment Strategy

The Growth and Income Portfolio seeks to acquire common stocks of high quality companies that generally have a satisfactory history of earnings and dividend growth. In addition, exchange traded funds (ETFs) may be purchased to provide the portfolio with cost effective exposure to appropriate segments of the U.S. equity market. Investments are made for long-term growth potential. Therefore, the portfolio turnover will be relatively low.

Investment Considerations

As a growth and income alternative investing primarily in common stock, this Account is usually subject to more risk than a balanced approach with diversified investments in stocks and bonds. The Growth & Income Account will primarily invest in stocks of large, well established companies. Investments will be made in a variety of industry groups. The account´s focus will be on long-term growth and turnover will be relatively low.
