SMALL CAP GROWTH ACCOUNT - II
Following is a summary of information about the Sentry Small Cap Growth Account
- II. Investors are advised to learn key data about an investment prior to
making any investment decision.
Objective
The objective of this account is to earn long-term capital growth from
investments in common stocks or other equity securities. It is invested solely
in the Loomis Sayles Small Cap Value Fund Institutional Class Shares.
The Small Cap Growth Account - II is available only to participants in retirement
plans whose sponsors were Sentry customers on or before September 30, 2008. If
this account is available in your plan, it will be included in your online
enrollment and transfer forms.
Investor Profile
The Small Cap Growth Account - II may be suitable for investors with very
long-term investment horizons who are seeking long-term growth of capital from
investments in common stocks or other equity securities believed to be
undervalued by the market in relation to earnings, dividends, assets and growth
potential. Individuals must be willing and able to accept substantial changes
in unit price in the short, long and very long-term.
Investment Strategy
The Fund seeks to achieve its objective by generally looking for companies that
it believes are undervalued by the market in relation to earning dividend,
asset and growth prospects. The Fund invests primarily in stocks of companies
with a market capitalization that falls within the capitalization range of the
Russell 2000 Index, and the rest of its assets may be invested in larger
companies. Current income is not a consideration in selecting the Fund's
investments. The Fund may invest up to 20% of its assets in securities of
foreign issuers.
Investment Considerations
The Small Cap Growth Account - II takes an actively managed, value approach to
investing in companies with small capitalizations. A small capitalization
company is defined as one that falls within the capitalization range of the
Russell 2000 Index. This account can be used by investors seeking to diversify
a portion of their retirement planning account into the small-cap value
marketplace with an active (as opposed to a passive/index) management strategy
that follows a value approach to investing.
