Disasters cause injury, loss of life and property damage. Being prepared for and aware of impending or active disasters and emergencies can decrease your losses. As a service to our customers, Sentry provides timely updates regarding active disasters and emergencies.

When a disaster threatens, Sentry assembles a loss mitigation team. We disseminate information to help customers respond to natural and man-made events, including:

• Hazardous material incidents
• Terrorism

POLICYHOLDER ALERTS

Sentry makes every effort to alert business policyholders of impending disasters or current emergencies in their area. This service not only provides general information about the event, but also supplies specific Web links and information to help customers prepare for, survive and recover from the event.  When applicable, policyholders also receive information on reporting claims.


SECURE PORTAL ALERTS

Sentry’s customer portal, Sentry @ Your Service, lists specific alerts, along with links to pertinent information. Only Sentry business customers have access to this secured site.
