Forbes names Sentry a best-in-state employer

Ranking based on Statista’s survey of 80,000 employees nationwide

STEVENS POINT, Wis. (Dec. 17, 2020) – Forbes has named Sentry Insurance to its second-annual list of America’s Best-In-State Employers. Forbes partnered with market research company Statista to pinpoint those organizations across the country liked best by employees.

The annual list is divided out by state and was compiled by surveying 80,000 Americans working for businesses with at least 500 employees. Survey participants were asked to rate their employers on a variety of criteria including safety and work environment, compensation, opportunities for advancement, and openness to telecommuting.

Surveys were conducted on a rolling basis from October 2019 to May 2020, and responses regarding the same employers were compared throughout the process to account for any variations in results collected before and after the onset of the coronavirus pandemic.

The final national list includes 1,461 employers, with 75 total companies being recognized in the state of Wisconsin.
