If you are involved in an accident:

• In the event of an accident where someone is injured, call 911 and stay at the scene until police arrive.
• File a police report, no matter how minor the damage to your vehicle.
• Write down details of the accident.
• Protect your vehicle from further damage.

If your loss involves a hit-and-run accident, most insurers require that you notify the police within 24 hours or as soon as reasonably possible.

If you have collision coverage, your claims representative will work with you to establish the extent of damage to your vehicle and help you identify repair or replacement alternatives.
