Sentry’s Plan

  • Flat Benefits – You select benefit amounts from $10,000 to $250,000
  • Reducing Benefit – You select a schedule of amounts starting at $100,000, $200,000 or $300,000 to provide a greater benefit for employees that have more remaining years of work. Benefits decrease as employees get closer to retirement.
  • Times Salary Benefit – Benefits may be selected at one or two times an employee's salary, up to a maximum benefit

Added Features at No Additional Cost:

  • Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) – Benefit is equal to basic term amount. Accidental dismemberment benefits will vary by degree of injury.
  • Dependent Life – Available to employers with a minimum of 10 employees (10 percent of employee basic amount for spouse and five percent for children)
  • Premium Waiver – Coverage continues without premium payments if the employee becomes permanently or totally disabled prior to age 60 for nine consecutive months. This benefit terminates on the first of the month following the employee’s 65th birthday.
  • Conversion Privilege – Group term life is convertible to an individual policy from Sentry when all or part of the employee's insurance terminates because insurance ends, employee is no longer in a class eligible for insurance or employee enters a class which results in reduced benefits
