We created the 2026 C-Suite Stress Index based on our survey of 1,250 U.S. executives, seeking insights into their expectations and concerns for 2026. The survey included 111 leaders in the healthcare industry.

The responses from these healthcare executives reveal they share a comprehensive view of the risks impacting their organizations. While several threats are daily concerns, others—particularly natural disasters—are relatively low-probability, but carry significant risks.

Six risks were identified as primary threats by at least 40% of healthcare executives, including the rising cost of employee healthcare, supply chain or logistics challenges, and cyberattacks. See the full report for more.
