New regional office allows Sentry® to better serve businesses, select agents in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, and Pennsylvania

CINCINNATI (Nov. 17, 2025) — Sentry®, one of the largest and most financially secure national mutual insurance groups, has expanded its presence with a new regional office in Cincinnati. The expansion underscores Sentry’s commitment to building long-term relationships with select agents and businesses.

“Our Great Lakes team—which brings more than 200 years of combined experience and deep ties throughout the area—will help protect the livelihoods of business owners and their employees, including those in the evolving manufacturing industry,” said Gerald Heare, Sentry Regional Executive, who will lead the new office.

Sentry’s 14,000 square foot office is just north of Cincinnati in Landings III at 9999 Carver Road, Blue Ash, Ohio 45242. More than 50 Fortune 700 companies have a presence in the City of Blue Ash, including Sentry, which ranks 614. Some of the others with an office or manufacturing presence in the city include American Financial Group, Booz Allen Hamilton, Edward Jones, Johnson & Johnson, Microsoft, and Raymond James.

Ohio is one of the top states for manufacturing, with nearly 700,000 people in the industry. By increasing its regional presence, Sentry’s claims, underwriting, and safety specialists will be able to deliver more accessible services to customers and the company’s locally based, select appointed independent agents.

While the office is based in Blue Ash, the team will serve businesses throughout the region, including those located in:

Heare joined Sentry in 2024 and oversees underwriting, sales, and distribution for the area. He is based in Cincinnati and has more than 30 years working with national insurance companies, including American States Insurance, Chubb, and Liberty Mutual. Heare will be joined by:
