Findorff Chairman Richard Lynch Elected to Sentry Board of Directors

Sentry Insurance has announced the election of Richard M. Lynch, chairman of Madison, Wis.-based J.H. Findorff & Son Inc., to the Sentry Board of Directors.

Lynch has more than three decades of construction industry experience and a diverse background in preconstruction and project management. After spending the first nine years of his career working for a smaller, family-owned contractor, Lynch joined Findorff in 1984 as a project manager and became an owner and vice president in 1992. He was named executive vice president in 1997, and president in 2002, before being named chairman in 2012. Under his leadership, Findorff has been at the forefront of cutting-edge construction techniques, management processes, equipment, and technology.

Beyond Findorff, Lynch has a long history of community involvement, contributing his time and expertise to many professional and civic organizations, including Downtown Madison Inc., Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce, the National W Club, United Way of Dane County, and the Madison Community Foundation.

The Sentry board currently consists of nine members.
