KAPALUA, Hawaii (February 24, 2022) – The 2022 Tournament of Champions brought another year of exciting moments and stellar play. Near-perfect conditions led to some of the lowest scores in tournament history, including a record-setting performance from champion Cameron Smith.

As title sponsor, we want to thank the players, fans, volunteers, and communities for helping make the event successful. Check back throughout the year for more information leading up to the 2023 tournament. We look forward to seeing you next year.

Each year the players at this winners-only event help create one of the most exciting environments in golf. Players qualify for the Sentry Tournament of Champions by winning a PGA TOUR event in the prior calendar year. Check out the lineup for 2023.

Cameron Smith: 2022

Cameron Smith won the 2022 Sentry Tournament of Champions in record-setting fashion. Smith finished at 34-under, the lowest score for a 72-hole event in PGA TOUR history. Ernie Els held the previous TOUR record with a 31-under performance at Kapalua in 2003.

Harris English

Harris English: 2021

English rallied late to force a playoff with Joaquin Niemann—burying a putt for birdie to capture the 2021 Sentry Tournament of Champions title. English later visited SentryWorld, our parkland golf course, to discuss his win with our CEO, Pete McPartland.

Thomas defeated Patrick Reed and Xander Schauffele in a playoff to claim his second Tournament of Champions title.
