Sentry® in top 20 of Deloitte’s Wisconsin 75 list

Recognition reflects mutual insurer's economic contributions, stability, and people-first culture.

STEVENS POINT, Wis. (October 6, 2026) – Sentry Insurance was recently named No. 11 on Deloitte’s Wisconsin 75, highlighting the mutual insurer’s continued financial growth and reputation as a stable, people-focused employer.

“From our beginnings in central Wisconsin, Sentry has grown into a larger and more diverse company. What hasn’t changed is how we do business—building lasting relationships with our customers and preserving the culture generations of employees have shaped. Those strengths will guide us as we continue to evolve to meet the growing needs of our customers and employees,” said Pete McPartland, Sentry Chairman and CEO.

Growth and economic impact

Headquarted in Stevens Point, Sentry has more than 3,000 employees based in Wisconsin. The company climbed to No. 529 on the 2026 Fortune 1000, with more than $6.9 billion in annual revenue. The ranking marked Sentry’s first appearance among the top 600 companies on the Fortune 1000.

Sentry’s strength also is reflected in the A+ (superior) Financial Strength Rating it received for the 35th consecutive year from AM Best earlier this year. Best, the insurance industry's leading rating authority, cited Sentry's capital and balance sheet strength, innovation, diversified portfolio, and sustainable results.

Sentry’s inclusion on Deloitte’s 75 follows additional workplace honors including recognition on Newsweek’s America’s Greatest Workplaces, America’s Greatest Workplaces for Women, and America’s Greatest Workplaces for Financial Services, and Forbes’ 2026 America's Best-in-State Companies.
