Our proven growth strategy is to enter new and existing markets where we have an understanding of the unique risks involved and where we can offer our deep, industry knowledge to better serve our customers.

In 2022, we successfully executed this strategy by entering the Specialty lines commercial market and expanding our geographical reach with a new regional office in Denver. We also leveraged our experience in operating a world-class golf course to begin insuring golf courses across the country.

A niche market success story

Our Hortica® brand is an excellent example of our approach to entering new markets. We affiliated with Hortica in 2015, combining their horticultural industry experience already in place with our products, service, and A+ AM Best rating.

The result? Over the past seven years, premium within this business unit has grown by more than 50 percent, and topped $100 million in 2022.
