The central Wisconsin native served in a similar capacity for Aurora Health in Milwaukee
Sentry, a mutual insurer based in Stevens Point, has named Amy Rislov its new chief human resources officer.
Rislov comes to Sentry by way of SSM Health Wisconsin, where she was the system vice president of human resources. Prior to joining SSM, Rislov was with Aurora Health Care for more than 21 years, holding progressively responsible roles in human resources and operations before serving as chief human resources officer her last four years there.
“Amy has the right background, experience, and management style for Sentry,” said Pete McPartland, chairman of the board, president, and CEO at Sentry. “She understands that Sentry is a people business built one relationship at a time by generations of talented, dedicated, and hard-working associates.”
Rislov will be responsible for all aspects of human resources and will serve as a member of Sentry’s senior leadership team.
Throughout her career, Rislov has been an active community leader. She is currently a board member for Next Door, a nonprofit focused on improving literacy and school readiness for children ages birth to 5 in Milwaukee. A native of Wausau, Wisconsin, Rislov is glad for the opportunity to be back in central Wisconsin.
“It’s an honor to work with an organization that has built such a strong culture—one that has thousands of associates dedicated to building strong relationships with our customers and supported to continually learn, grow, and live healthy, balanced lives,” Rislov said.
At Sentry, Rislov joins one of the country’s largest mutual insurance companies, currently ranked No. 685 on the Fortune 1000 list. Sentry employs more than 4,300 associates throughout the U.S., including about 2,500 in central Wisconsin. Forbes has recognized Sentry the past three years as one of America’s Best Midsize Employers.
